NYC Dance Arts is searching for the best hip hop dancers to perform alongside NYC Dance Arts in center court at the NY Liberty Basketball Game at the Prudential Center in NJ this summer on Saturday, July 13th at 6:00pm! (Dancers are also able to participate in the Dance Clinic with the NY Knicks Dancers beforehand at 4:00pm)
NYC Dance Arts offers internal and external opportunities for individuals who continue to aspire to dance. We provide talented dancers the opportunity to join one of New York’s elite dance company in events that create alternative prospects for artistic individuals.

NYC Dance Arts will contact you via email if you have been selected to perform. Please Note: Each dancer will be required to pay a $20.00 non-refundable performance fee. This fee also includes seats to watch the game after the performance. Please DO NOT submit a performance fee payment unless you have been selected to perform by NYC Dance Arts. Rehearsals for the performance will be scheduled in advance during the month of July. The same dance routine will be taught more than once on different days for review; Dancers who have been selected will receive a rehearsal schedule.

NEW YORK CITY, MARCH 2012. NYC Dance Arts will bring in new season with a new annual platform known as the “NYC DANCE ARTS DANCE FESTIVAL”, set to showcase on April 7th at 6:00pm & 8:00pm at the 133rd Street Arts Center in Harlem, NY.
NYC Dance Arts Dance Festival is a new annual showcase dedicated to the development of emerging artists and young professional choreographers. It is a platform to expand and explore new repertoires as well as artistic development. The dance festival is designed to provide the opportunity for dance artists/dance companies to present their “new work” in a creative environment that is meant to inspire a diverse audience.
NYC Dance Arts Dance Festival consists of many different dance styles ranging from modern, contemporary, ballet, afro-modern, jazz, tap and hip hop. The diversity of the dance artists/dance companies performing in the festival differs in ways unimaginable. Roshelle Wilder, Founder/Director of NYC Dance Arts has scouted some of the very best performing artists from across the Eastern region of the country to participate in their very first Dance Festival. All who are to attend this extravagant event are sure to be mesmerized by the wide display of artistic works.

NYC DANCE ARTS GROWS ITS “ROOTS” IN THE NEW SEASON!!!!
NEW YORK CITY, MARCH 2013. NYC Dance Arts will bring in new season with a brand new original production titled “ROOTS”, set to premiere on April 6th at 6:00pm & 8:00pm at the 133rd Street Arts Center in Harlem, NY.
NYC Dance Arts is one of New York’s leading dance companies that provide adults with the benefit to continue their passion through the art of dance. The dance company is progressing in growth with dancers who aspire to develop and gain professional experience. Individuals who have interest in a dance and/or fitness style can partake in an array of movement classes that enhances ones body, mind and soul. The dance company is becoming increasingly innovative through the artistic vision of the Director Roshelle Wilder who consistently produces spectacular works of art.
“ROOTS” will be NYC Dance Arts take on the origins of African culture to encompass Afro-centric elements. The dance work will capture the enchantment of the safari and the natives of the motherland through ingenious expression. This original work will captivate the audience with its unique rendition of African life. The production will also include an introduction by Ballet des Ameriques “MACOUBA”, an intermission by Boston Community Dance Project and a finale’ by NYC Dance Arts Dance Scholarship Program.
